You shouldn't sleep away the summer night...

On clear, fine summer evenings, there are many nice places to experience the midnight sun. We recommend climbing a nearby mountain to see the peaks painted in warm sunlight, or going to the outer side of Lofoten to walk along the shore where you can hear the roar of the Great Ocean.

From the Lofoten summer hotel, you can choose to go east towards Laukvika and Delp (approx. 30 min) or west towards Brenna and Gimsøya (approx. 30 min).

It is also exotic and spectacular further out in Lofoten in Kavalvika or up the mountain Ryten, but there you also have to expect to meet more people.
